The LIC AAO (Assistant Administrative Officer) exam pattern and syllabus for 2023 is yet to be announced by the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). However, based on the previous year’s pattern and syllabus, we can expect the following:

LIC AAO Exam Pattern 2023:

The LIC AAO exam is expected to be conducted in three phases: Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and Interview.

Preliminary Exam:

• The Preliminary Exam is expected to be conducted in online mode.
• The duration of the exam is expected to be 1 hour.
• The Preliminary Exam is expected to consist of objective-type questions.
• The exam is expected to consist of three sections: Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language.
• The total number of questions is expected to be 100, with each section consisting of 35, 35, and 30 questions, respectively.
• The total marks for the exam are expected to be 100 marks.

Main Exam:

• The Main Exam is expected to be conducted in online mode.
• The duration of the exam is expected to be 2 hours.
• The Main Exam is expected to consist of objective-type questions as well as a descriptive test.
• The objective-type questions are expected to consist of four sections: Reasoning Ability, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Data Analysis and Interpretation, and Insurance and Financial Market Awareness.
• The descriptive test is expected to consist of two questions: one letter writing and one essay writing.
• The total marks for the exam are expected to be 300 marks.

Interview:

• The candidates who clear the Main Exam will be called for an interview.
• The interview is expected to be conducted for 60 marks.
